THE SILMARILLION

hello and welcome to the community strictly for conceptual art from the silmarillion by JRR tolkien!

INFORMATION
i made this community because i found myself constantly looking for other conceptual art and just figured this would be a great way to bring all of that art together.

to join the group, simply send a note to the-silmarillion with the title "new member".

to submit a piece of art after you've joined, just send another note to the-silmarillion with the title "new submission". in the note, give the links to your deviations that you'd like to submit. i'll take care of the rest!

RULES
art submitted must be relevent ONLY to the characters, places and things in 'the silmarillion'. that means no LOTRness, no legolas, etc. mostly no hobbits.

yes, i know. it's heartbreaking. i love hobbits too.
but they're not in 'the silmarillion' (except for a vague reference at the very end).

however! some of the characters in LOTR, such as sauron, elrond, galadriel, gandalf, saruman, elendil, isildur, etc, CAN be a part of work submitted. because they're in 'the silmarillion'.

it's a very simple idea, people. work with me.

something for the silmarillion group must be put in a spot in your journal, either an icon or link.

otherwise how are people going to enjoy the goodness that is our beautiful group? hmm?
